About me
I started Snuffle & Co because I'm fascinated by dogs — how they communicate, how they experience the world and how they find pure joy in the simplest things. I've grown up with dogs my whole life and wanted to build something that kept me around them every day, while exploring the incredible countryside right on our doorstep.
I'm based in Burwash in the heart of the East Sussex High Weald, and I walk, sit and care for dogs across the surrounding countryside — proper walks with real fields, woodland and fresh air.
I'm fully insured, DBS checked, first aid trained and currently studying at Dog Training College to deepen my understanding of dog behaviour. I take a small number of dogs at a time because I genuinely care about each one. Your dog isn't just another booking.
When I'm not out walking, I make handstitched leather leads and collars and stock a carefully chosen range of British-made dog accessories. Everything I sell is something I'd put on my own dog.
Rain, mud and the occasional soggy lead? All part of the job. As you can probably tell.
What I do
Snuffle & Co is a solo dog walking, check-in and pet sitting service based in Burwash, in the heart of the East Sussex High Weald. Every walk is planned around the dogs I'm with that day — their breed, their age, their energy and their needs. No two walks are the same.
I keep groups deliberately small, never more than 3 to 4 dogs, so every dog gets proper attention rather than just being part of a crowd. For dogs that prefer their own company, I offer solo walks. For days when you just need someone to pop in, I do home check-ins. And when you need more support, I offer day and overnight pet sitting subject to my availability.
The shop side of Snuffle & Co came out of the same thinking. I only stock things I'd put on my own dog — leads, collars and coats made by hand in Britain, by makers who care as much about quality as I do.

Every brand we stock is one we genuinely believe in. British made, dog first, built to last.
Hawk & Miller make some of the finest dog coats in Britain. Every piece is handcrafted in England using traditional methods and proper materials, from waxed canvas to Yorkshire wool, with every piece finished by hand in Rye, East Sussex. If you have seen a dog on a country walk wearing something that stopped you in your tracks, there is a good chance it was one of theirs.
Scrufts have been making beautiful dog accessories in sunny Brighton for years. Their Liberty print and Harris Tweed collars are made from genuine fabrics, the kind of thing that feels as good as it looks. Every collar is made with care and a real eye for colour and pattern.
That is us. Snuffle & Co started because we wanted honest, well made things for our own dogs and could not always find them. So we started making them. Our leather leads and collars are handstitched from English bridle leather and Italian vegetable tanned hide, sourced from proper leather merchants who have been doing this for generations.
The Gentle Hound make beautifully crafted fishtail leather collars, designed specifically for dogs with long or A-shaped necks — the greyhound, lurcher and whippet types who never quite fit a standard collar. Available in a range of colours, made for comfort and built not to break the bank. Coming soon to Snuffle & Co.
